Maryland Softball Travels To North-South Classic

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The University of Maryland softball team travels to Charlottesville, Va., on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2 to compete in the North-South Classic. The Terps own a 1-3 overall record after participating in the Triangle Classic in Raleigh, N.C. Maryland opens the North-South Classic on 10:30 Saturday morning against Temple.

Sophomore pitcher Kelly Shipman leads the Terrapin offensive attack, hitting .333. She has recorded three hits and has scored one run. Sophomore pitcher Tisha Killian leads the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 0.000 ERA.
