The No. 3 Maryland women's lacrosse team is looking for its first spot in the national semifinals since 2003 when it hosts No. 12 Duke (12-7) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex. The Blue Devils handed the Terrapins (18-2) one of their two losses this season. Fans attending the game will only be able to park in Lot 4i. MORE

Swinson Throws Sixth No-Hitter in School History

Sophomore Scott Swinson threw the sixth no-hitter in Maryland baseball history, striking out a career-high 10 batters as the University of Maryland baseball team defeated Delaware, 4-0 Tuesday afternoon, in its season finale to end the season with 30 wins. University of Maryland senior linebacker Dave Philistin was named to the watch list for the 2008 Bronko Nagurski Trophy in an announcement Monday by the Football Writers Association of America. The Nagurski Trophy is awarded to the best defensive player in college football and is sponsored by the Charlotte Touchdown Club. MORE
