Women's Gymnastics Ranked 14th in the Country

The University of Maryland's women's gymnastics team is ranked 14th in the nation in the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches poll. This ranking comes after Maryland's 188.575-185.125 victory last night over Towson, its first in ten years over the Tigers.

Also coming out of the meet were East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the week honors for senior Megyn Byrnes, who won the all-around competition with a 38.025. This was just the second time that a Maryland gymnast had earned Gymnast of the Week honors in the three-year history of the EAGL.
