Record Breaker: Climbing The Charts: Senior forward Lynsey McVicker leads the team in total points with 59. She has 18 goals and 23 assists. She currently has 50 career assists, which is one behind teammate Jen Pratt. In addition, she has 52 career goals, which is third best in school history. Freshman Making An Impact: Freshman forward Carla Tagliente has scored 18 goals this season, which is the most any freshman has scored at Maryland. She also has five assists. This season, Tagliente has been named ACC Co-Player of the WEek twice. Freshman back Marloes Platzek has 12 goals and 12 assists and freshman midfielder Keli Smith has seven goals and three assists. Maryland Seniors: Each of Maryland's seven seniors are in the starting lineup. In addition to Bennett and McVicker, midfielders Christine DeBow (nine goals, seven assists) and Sarah Rosenwinkel (two goals, two assists), backs Carolyn Schwarz and Karin Freeswick, and goalie Alana Eliwatt (0.843 goals against average) are playing in their final postseason together.
