Maryland Third in the Polls

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The first NCAA Division I field hockey poll has been released and the University of Maryland is ranked third in the nation. The bi-weekly poll is conducted by the NCAA Division I field hockey committee.

Old Dominion is ranked first, followed by North Carolina, Maryland, James Madison and Virginia. The Terps host Old Dominion on October 2 and Virginia on October 5. Maryland travels to James Madison on October 8 and North Carolina on October 26.
