Women's Basketball Schedule Announced

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- University of Maryland head women's basketball coach Chris Weller has announced the Terps' schedule for the 1997-98 season. Maryland participates in three tournaments this upcoming season: the ECAC Women's Holiday Tournament hosted by Holy Cross, the St. Peter's Tournament in Jersey City, N.J. and the Terps host the Dial Classic for the fourth consecutive year on December 13-14. The Terps' other non-conference games are against Penn State, Rutgers, Loyola (Md.) and Hampton.

Maryland appears on television three times including an ESPN match-up against North Carolina on January 18 at Cole Field House. Maryland's other televised games are against Georgia Tech on January 26 and against N.C. State on February 16.
