Terp Runners Compete at JMU Twilight Meet

Kerrie Bowes provisionally qualifies for NCAA's

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Senior All-American Kerrie Bowes provisionally qualified for the NCAA's with a season best time of 4:25.16 in thge 1500 meter run at this weekends James Madison University Twighlight meet. Her time, which placed her in fifth, eclipsed her previous season best by over four seconds.

Kevin Cody also recorded a season best time, finishing fifth in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:52.42. This time narrowly missed qualifying him for the IC4A Championships.

Two other finsihes for the Terrapins were Andria Johnson's nineth place time of 10:23.16 in the 3,000 meter run, and Greg Hungers 10th place time of 3:56.59 in the 1,500 meter run.

Next up for the Terps are the ECAC/IC4A Championships next weekend.
