As a sophomore (2016): Saw action vs. California...named to the All-Big Ten Academic Team...part of team that won third straight Big Ten regular season title.

As a redshirt freshman (2015): Saw action in three games...saw first career action in Terps' home opener vs. Saint Joseph's (Aug. 30)...part of team that swept Big Ten regular season and tournament titles...named to the All-Big Ten Academic Team. 

As a freshman (2014): Redshirt season due to a knee injury...Part of team that won first Big Ten championship in school history.

Before Maryland: Played three years of varsity field hockey at South River…team won three straight Anne Arundel County championships…team won Class 4A State title in her junior year…team won District 5 title in her sophomore year…named to All-Country Second Team as a junior and senior…served as captain as a senior…played for Freedom Hockey Club…team won regional championship and finished 12th at nationals in 2013.

Personal: Madalyn Rae Ulery...daughter of Scott and Beth Ulery...has three siblings - Elle, Jill and Ben...chose Maryland because she wanted to play for her home state and the loved the team and coaches...hearing and speech sciences major...intends to be a speech therapist in an elementary school and also coach field hockey in the school system.
