Rocke’s heroic shot earned Maryland a midweek victory.

Elisea Wiegand got the start in the circle for the Terps and was dominant through her first five scoreless innings. Rocke, Matti Benson, and Caroline Fox all logged multi-hit days in the win. Fox picked up a crucial RBI during Maryland's two-run sixth inning. Rocke's two-run blast sent the fans home happy as the freshman catcher launched her seventh homer of the year into the College Park night. The Terps are back in action with a three-game series against Oregon starting on Friday.
