COLLEGE PARK, MD — It took eight innings to separate Maryland and the No. 18 Ducks, but Oregon used an eighth-inning sac-fly to claim the 4-3 win. The Terps collected five hits — including a two-run blast from Zayda Rocke — but fell to 14-25 (1-16 Big Ten) on the season.
Maryland opened the scoring in the first inning with a sacrifice-fly from Matti Benson. She plated Bailey Murphy, who reached with her third hit of the weekend.
Maryland immediately responded with a two-run, first-pitch blast from Rocke. The freshman catcher plated two with her eighth homer of the season, which moved her into a tie for the most on the squad.

Bucher was brilliant the rest of the way for Maryland, keeping Oregon from scoring again until the top of the eighth inning, when the Ducks took their final lead to improve to 31-9 (12-2 Big Ten) in 2026.
