The Cavaliers recorded a pair of six-run innings to capture a win over the Terrapins.
McGowan's second homer of the season got the scoring started in the top of the second inning. A bomb to straightaway center field earned her a team-leading seventh RBI on the year.
Virginia's offense exploded for six runs during a six-hit second inning that featured a three-run homer off the bat of Reagan Hickey. The Terps went to the bullpen in the second as the Cavaliers claimed a 6-1 lead.⬆️2️⃣ Solo home run for Anna McGowan💥💥

Virginia blew the game open in the third with another six-run frame, putting the Cavaliers eighth win of the season on ice. McGowan came in to pitch during the frame, marking her first appearance of the season in the circle.
