Oct. 6, 1997 Maryland Slows Down at Paul Short InvitationalBETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The University of Maryland women's cross country team had a solid showing at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by LeHigh University Saturday. The women finished 15th out of 27, with Lisa DeGrechie leading the team. She had a time of 18:51.6, placing 58th. North Carolina State, who had the top two finishes by Laura Rhoads and Amy Beykirch, was the overall winner. They had times of 17:19.3 and 17:22. 3 respectively.
