Women's lacrosse named Terrapin Cup Team of the Year; Men's golf and women's cross country earn President's Cup awards
Team finishes 13th out of 31 teams competing in University Park, Pa.
The women's 6,000-meter competition is scheduled to begin at noon at Penn State.
Maryland finishes in 11th place with 296 points.

2010 CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in five events for Terps... Best finish was 25th overall and 5th on the team at the Mount St. Mary's Duals, with 21:17 clocking over 5K... Saved her best 6K mark of the year for the biggest meet of the season, covering 6K course at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional in 22:45 to place 86th overall and third on the team... Was 92nd overall and seventh on the team at the ACC Championships, going 23:08.9... Had 23:06 clocking to finish seventh on the team at the Penn State National.
2009 CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in four events for Terps as a freshman... Best finish came in the season-opener when she placed 25th overall at the UMES Lid-Lifter... Covered 5K course in 20:17... Ran 19:27 to place 34th overall at the Great American Festival in N.C... Seventh Terp across the line for the Maryland 'B' team, which finished third among the 14 teams finishing... Went 24:48 over 6K for Terps at the Panorama Farms Invitational.
BEFORE MARYLAND - Attending Maryland on a Banneker Key full academic scholarship... Valedictorian at Franklin HS in Reisterstown... Maryland Distinguished Scholar Semifinalist... Earned Scholar-Athlete Award and was Varsity All-Academic honoree for nine seasons (GPA of 3.75 or better)... Four-year letterwinner in cross country... XC team captain as junior and senior...
