2008 CROSS COUNTRY: Had an impressive season with top ranks... first on team to cross the line in the 6K, 5th overall at the Navy Invitational with a time of 23:01.0... second on team and 7th overall with a time of 22:02 at the George Invitational... finished second overall and second on team with a time of 22:11.0 at the Princeton Invitational... had a time of 21:53.7 and placed 38th at the ACC Championships... was the Terp with the best time of 22:50 at the NCAA Regional Championships, placing 32nd ... finished 5th place with a time of 18.12.5 at the ECAC Championships. 2007 CROSS COUNTRY: One of two Terrapins to participate in all six events this season (Kylynn McKinley)... Led Maryland finishers to the line twice this season, getting top-10 finishes each time... Was fourth overall as Maryland went 4-1 at the Mount St. Mary's Duals and placed ninth in 23:05.1 to lead the Terps to the line at the George Mason Invitational... Third-top-20 finish came as Maryland won the Leopard Invitational and she placed 13th overall and third on the team in 21:45 over 6K course... Finished 72nd individually at the ACC Championships, eighth on the team... Was Maryland's sixth finisher, 94th overall, with 22:42 run at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional. 2006 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in all seven events of the season... placed 11th overall and sixth on the team in her collegiate debut with a time of 19:46.3 at the Great Meadows Invitational... crossed the line at the Spiked Shoe Invitational at 22:38.9, good for 27th overall out of 316 runners... Finished 33rd overall at the Tribe Invitational and 59th overall at the ACC Championship. BEFORE MARYLAND: Participated in cross country, indoor and outdoor track, soccer, and basketball at Upper Perkiomen HS... holds 800m and mile records... named second team All-State in 2004 for the mile and placed seventh in mile at the Penn Relays in 2005... also participated in the 2005 Golden West mile... her mile record time is 4:57 and holds a 2:16 best in the 800... high school coach was Todd Niemann. PERSONAL: Will major in physical education... also enjoys soccer and kayaking. |
