Was 54th at the ACC Championships, going 22:05.8 over 6K course at Boston College... Had top-10 finish at the Salty Dog Invitational at Navy, leading the Terps to the team win with a 22:51.0 to place sixth... Also ran 21:34 (54th) at Lehigh Paul Short Run over 6K and 21:47 to finish 37th overall at the Penn State National. 2009 CROSS COUNTRY - Began her Maryland career with three straight finishes in the top 10... Third overall and second on the team at the UMES Lid-Lifter, going 18:43.7 over 5K course... Also 3rd at the Great American Festival, posting Terps' second-fastest time with 5K in 18:04... Placed 8th at the Wolfpack Invitational, going 18:21... Ran 22:59.8 at the ACC Championships to place 78th... Sixth Terp to the line and 97th overall at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals, going 23:58 over 6K course. BEFORE MARYLAND - Attended Council Rock High School North... Won league and district titles in cross country... Newtown Courier Times Runner of the Year... won the 1,600 and 800 meters at Suburban One League championships... placed first in the 1,600 at Districts... placed fourth in both the 1,600 and 800 meters at state meet... named cross country runner of the year in 2007... was on first team all-league, all-state teams... also played basketball and played in the state title game. PERSONAL - Daughter of William and Wendy Fricke... has two siblings Billy, 15 and Justin... Father played basketball at Penn State...
