    BRIDGEPORT, Pa. - Taylor Reeves named the CWPA Western Division Defensive Player of the Week and Danielle Robinson was selected as the top rookie Tuesday by the league office.

    Reeves, a redshirt freshman, started and went the distance in net for the Terps (10-3, 4-0) in Saturday's 19-3 divisional win over Notre Dame (Ohio). Reeves posted a career-high eight blocks and also set up three goals with assists.

    Robinson kept up her strong play by posting a combined four goals, two assists and five steals against Gannon (13-3 win) and Notre Dame (Ohio). The freshman posted a career-best four goals and chipped in a game-high tying five steals against Notre Dame (Ohio).

    It marked the first weekly honor for both players.

    Sophomore Katie Ermakova was a nominee for division player of the week. She totaled nine goals and five steals in Maryland's two wins Saturday.

    Maryland is off this weekend, but resumes play on Saturday, March 17 when it plays Fresno Pacific in Davis, Calif.
