Brent Kwiatkowski is in his first season as a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Maryland. Kwiatkowski (Pronounced Kwit-cow-Ski) spent the previous three years as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Michigan. Kwiatkowski began his U-M tenure in September 2008 assisting with the men's and women's basketball programs. He also coordinated the strength and conditioning for the women's swimming and women's water polo teams, and assisted with baseball. Kwiatkowski is working on earning his master's degree from Eastern Michigan University in exercise physiology. A native of Canton, Mich., he received his bachelor of science's degree in physical education from EMU in 2008. Kwiatkowski is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (NSCA) and is a certified club coach for Olympic weightlifting (USAW). |
