No. 23 Terps Sweep Georgetown--Improve to 5-0

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The University of Maryland women's volleyball team won its fifth consecutive match Wednesday night at Cole Field House, defeating Georgetown in three games, 15-9, 15-6, 15-9. The Terps are now 5-0, and entered Wednesday's contest ranked No. 23 in the country after their defeat of 14th-ranked Ohio State last weekend.

Senior right-side hitter and All-America candidate Elizabeth Efron hit a team-high .343, and also had a team-high 17 kills to lead the Terps to the victory. Senior setter and All-America candidate Eden Kroeger tossed up 33 assists and had a team-high 17 digs. Junior outside hitter Kim Adolphs added 15 digs, while senior middle hitter Conya Jabari-Kitwala posted three blocks.

The Terps return to Cole Field House on Friday night to welcome back Maryland alumni in the annual Alumni match which begins at 7 p.m.
