Terrapins Roll over Drake

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Finishing up a fine weekend in Oregon, Maryland's women's volleyball team defeated Drake University in three convincing games, 15-5, 15-4, 15-5. The Terrapins remain undeafeted (3-0) on the season, while Drake is still winless (0-3). All three wins for Maryland came this weekend at the Gazatte Classic Tournament.

Elizabeth Efron led the way for the Terrapins with 17 kills and a team high .615 hitting percentage. Kim Adolfs had a match high 16 digs, and Eden Kroeger kept her fellow Terrapins happy with 33 assists and 14 digs.

Drake was a mess. With four players ending with a negative hitting percentage, it was was able to pull off the .000 for the match. Drake equaled it's 25 kills with 25 errors. Heidy Pemsl had 12 digs to go with her team high 8 kills.
