Terps Down Oregon State, 3-0

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The visiting Terrapins played bad houseguests yesterday in Corvallis, beating tournament host Oregon State in three straight. Maryland dammed up the Beavers 15-6, 16-14, 15-9. The Terrapins improve to 2-0, while OSU evens out to 1-1 in the early season.

The Adolfs had a big day for Maryland, Kim Adolf had a match high 17 kills and sister Kate had 10 to go with her team high 13 digs. Elizabeth Efron, coming off a strong performance aganist Kent, had another solid outing with 11 kills. It was a busy day for Eden Kroeger, who had 46 assists and 12 digs.

Heather Lowe led the OSU with 11 kills, and didn't get much help as she was the only Beaver with double-digit kills. Miya Malauulu had a match high 14 digs. The Terrapins hit .258 compared to OSU's .114, and each team had nine blocks. Maryland returns to action on Saturday against Drake University.
