Played in 27 matches and 92 sets as the team's primary libero ... finished eighth in the ACC in digs, finishing with 400 for an average of 4.35 per set ... ranked sixth in digs in ACC matches ... team-high 13 digs in victory at VCU (8/30) ... 23 digs against Kentucky (9/6) and at Tulane (9/13) ... recorded season-high 31 digs at Miami, the only 30-dig performance by a Terp so far this season, two shy of career high (10/12) had match-high 22 digs at Wake Forest (10/25).
AS A FRESHMAN (2007)
Played in 14 matches and 50 games ... averaged 3.32 digs per game as a part-time freshman starter at libero ... recorded seven digs and a service ace in first collegiate match against Oakland (8/24) ... recorded 45 digs over three matches of VCU Invitational, including 17 in championship match against host Rams (9/1) ... 33 digs in win against North Carolina was the most by any Terp in a match last season (9/28) ... 21 digs against NC State (9/29).
BEFORE MARYLAND
Lettered four years in both volleyball and tennis at Governor Thomas Johnson High School ... Frederick News Post Player of the Year in both sports two consecutive years (2005, 2006) ... three-time first team all-league in the Chesapeake Conference of the Monocacy Valley Athletic League for volleyball ... team won the 2004 and 2005 Class 4A North Regional title ... won the Outstanding Player Award for the Patriots three consecutive years ... served as team captain of both her high school team and her club team (Metro American) in 2005 and 2006 ... an avid tennis player since she was seven years old, she ranked 40th in the Mid-Atlantic Region for her age group ... honored as a Maryland High School All-Star for 2005-2006.
