As a Freshman (2012): Inserted into the starting lineup against American, Dion became one of the strongest defensive stoppers in the ACC over the final month of the season...Appearing in 23 matches, finished with 176 digs in ACC action and a 3.26 digs per set average, which ranked first on the team...recorded 16 digs in the season finale at Boston College (11/24)...finished with a team-high 16 digs to help the Terps hold Virginia Tech (11/10) to .189 hitting in a four-set win in Blacksburg...had a career-best 26 digs against Duke (11/4) after notching a team-high 15 against Wake Forest (11/2)...tallied 23 digs against Clemson (10/28)...recorded 24 digs against Georgia Tech (10/26)...had 16 digs and five assists in a three-set win at American (10/23)...totaled a career-high five digs against #12 Florida State (10/14)...had four digs at Wake Forest (10/6)...made her collegiate debut against New Hampshire (8/25).
Before Maryland: A two-time AAU All-American with her club Sky High Volleyball...helped Sky High to two AAU national titles in 2010 and 2011...helped Huntley High School reached the Illinois Sweet Sixteen three times...ranked by PrepVolleyball.com as one of the top-150 players in the class of 2012...named to the 2011 PrepVolleyball All-America honorable mention team...named to the Fox Valley All-Conference team all four years...named to the The News-Gazette All-State first team her senior year and served as team captain for Huntley...earned Fox Valley All-Area honors three times.
