COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Michal Amir, Lisa Miller and Jordan Hansbrough all won their singles flights to highlight an impressive effort for the Terps women's tennis team at this weekend's Maryland Invitational.

Amir defeated teammate Eleanor Peters 6-3, 6-1 during Sunday's final day of action to claim top honors in the Flight A draw.

Miller also had to eliminate a teammate to earn the Flight B crown of the three-day tournament which featured players from nine other teams. The junior downed Oksana Krutiyenko in the finals.

Hansbrough also won in straight sets, defeating Ryan Reichel of Dartmouth 6-4, 6-4 in the Flight C finals.

In addition to sweeping the three singles draws, the Terps also won one of the two doubles draws.

Amir and Miller combined to topple Pittsburgh's Kristy Borza and Elizabeth Adams 8-1 in the Flight A finals.
