Terps Look to Build Upon Past Success

Maryland plays host to Howard on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. to begin the season

As a Junior (2011-12): Saw limited action...made season debut at No. 6 singles against Nil Horoz of Richmond in the Terps' 5-2 victory over the Spiders (3/1).

As a Sophomore (2010-11): Saw limited action ... played in four singles matches and two doubles matches during tournament play.

As a Redshirt Freshman (2009-10): Saw limited action... Saw action at No. 3 doubles with Burce Kurkan and No. 6 singles against No. 20 Georgia Tech (April 3).

As a Freshman (2008-09): Served a redshirt season

Personal: Majoring in business ... nickname is Leo ... lists attending the 2008 Wimbledon finals as greatest sports thrill ... hobbies include listening to music and shopping ... volunteered with the Red Cross providing aid to homeless ... names Roger Federer as her sports hero ... chose to attend Maryland for the great academic reputation.
