Before Maryland: A four year letter winner at Eleanor Roosevelt...team captain and MVP...played for the Prince George's Tennis and Education Foundation's Extreme Team...competed in the 2000 Junior Olympics and 2001 ATA Nationals.
Personal: Born on June 24, 1983...daughter of Patricia and Vernon Ambush...has a brother, Sean (24) and a sister, Whitney (13)...hobbies include sign language; Ambush is a member of the Hands In Ministry, an organization that interprets for the deaf and hard of hearing...contemplated profession is deaf education.
