As a Freshman (2008-09): Established five career-best times in her freshman campaign, including three at the ACC Championships in the 100 (52.63) and 500 free (4:58.37) and the 100 breast (1:05.34)...picked up another two top times at the Terrapin Last Chance Meet in the 200 free (1:53.10) and 200 IM (1:05.34)...finished 14th in the 500 free (5:05.85) at the Terrapin Cup.

Before Maryland: All-State performer in the 200 and 500 free in 2006 and 2007 while swimming at Adlai E. Stevenson High School...squad was sectional champions in 2005 and 2007...also named all-conference...swam for the Patriot Aquatic Club, where her team was the 2008 Short Course Sectional Champions and 2007 Women's Speedo Short Course Sectional Champions.
