As a Sophomore (2008-09): Boasted a season-best 215.40 in the 1-meter in a triangular versus UMBC and Towson...also scored a season-best 223.15 in the 3-meter at the same meet.

As a Freshman (2007-08): Finished in the top three against Duke and UMBC in the 1-meter...first-place 1-meter and 3-meter performance v. Richmond...finished in the top three in the 3-meter in dual meets v. UMBC, Duke and NC State.

Before Maryland: Held captain of the diving team from 2004-07...was a member of the MDC from age 6-13...also earned varsity letters in Lacrosse and Field Hockey.

Personal: Daughter of David and Lori Puente...has one brother, J.W. ...hobbies include arts and crafts and making scrapbooks...lists Greg Louganis as her favorite athlete because of his perseverance...member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society in high school
