As a Junior (2001-02): Qualified for the NCAA Championships in two events ... finished 25th in the 200-breast (2:26.39) and 34th in the 100-breast (1:03.67) ... was superb at the ACC Championships, capturing fifth-place in the 200-breast (2:17.60) and seventh-place in the 100-breast (1:04.06) ... also swam on the 400-medley (3:47.84) and the 200-medley (1:44.50) relay teams that took home fourth place finished at the ACCs ... part of the 400-medley relay team that was victorious against NC State (3:54.07) ... took home top honors in the 200-breast (2:17.57) vs. Florida State ... won multiple relay events vs.Duke, garnering victories in the 400-medley relay (3:54.41), the 200-medley relay 1:49.13) and the 300-medley relay (3:07.84) ... won the 200-breast vs. Ohio State and Virginia Tech (2:21.64) ... also took home first-place with the 400-medley relay team (3:52.98) in the dual meet ... won both the 400-medley relay (3:48.22) and the 200-medley relay (1:45.62) at the Terrapin Cup Invitational ... won the 400-medley relay vs. Pittsburgh and Villanova (3:53.97) ... second-place in the 200-breast (2:23.20) in that meet ... had multiple victories at Virginia, winning both the 100-breast (1:04.96) and the 200-breast (2:18.85) ... also earned a first-place finish with the 200-medley relay team against Virginia (1:45.47).

As a Sophomore (2000-01): Scored in three individual events at the ACC Championships ... finished seventh in the 200-breast (2:18.58), 10th in the 100-breast (1:04.52) and 16th in the 200 IM (2:09.59) ... third in the 100-breast (1:07.24) at Virginia Tech ... another third-place finish at home vs. Howard and Villanova (1:07.51) ... won her first event of the season against NC State in the 200-breast (2:22.27) ... second vs. Pittsburgh in the 100-breast (1:06.23).

As a Freshman (1999:00): School-record holder in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.69) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:13.38) ... made a splash as a freshman by finishing second at the 2000 ACC Championships in the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:13.38 ... had another top-10 finish at the conference championships, placing seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.69) ... won the 200-yard breaststroke in six regular season meets and had three first-place finishes in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Before Maryland: An Olympic Trial qualifier and four-time All-American, Martin hold schools records in the 200-yard IM (2:06.36), 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.09), 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard free relay style … a three-time MVP at Bishop Moore, she led her team to a AAAA state championship in 1996 and 1998 … Martin captained the team her senior year while they collected their fourth straight Catholic State Championship.
