Mix of young and old aim to make progress in final ACC standings
Koszowski's Top Dive:
As a Junior (2011-12): Took second in the platform dive (191.16) at the Terrapin Cup...also finished fifth in the 3-meter (260.55) and 1-meter (238.75).
As a Sophomore (2010-11): Registered top marks in the 3-meter (six dives) and 1-meter (11 dives)...finished 19th in the platform (201.80) at the ACC Championships...took 25th in the 1-meter (214.05) and 26th in the 3-meter (234.15)...seventh in the 1-meter dive finals at the Terp Cup.
Before Maryland: Competed at Shawnee High School for coach Jeff Weigel...SJISA six-dive champion...undefeated in high school dual meets in 2008 and 2009...first place finisher at South Jersey Dive Championships in 2007 and 2009...two-time Jim Roach Diver of the Year, Delaware Valley Diver of the Year, New Jersey State Silver medalist, High School All-American...broke Shawnee High School 25-year record in 2006 and again in 2009...also participated with Blue Dolphin Diving and Jersey Rebels where she qualified for USA Diving Zones and Nationals from 2006-2009...two-time second team all-state and three-time first team all-county.
Personal: Daughter of Ken and Kyle Koszowski...has one brother, Kenny...lists her biggest sports thrill as doing a handstand on a 10-meter board and her craziest ambition as going to the Olympics...major is Business.
