Personal: Megan Knepper is the daughter of Linda and Dennis Knepper ... has two sisters, Greta, 29, and Brooke, 25 ... cousin of former NFL quarterback Jeff Hostetler ... enjoys go-carts, shopping and reading ... was a member of the National Honor Society and Academic Club in high school ... was her high school salutatorian ... has been a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee at Maryland for three years ... lists making the NCAAs for the first time, making the Olympic trials cut and beating ACC rival Virginia her freshman and junior years as her biggest athletic thrills ... lists her sisters as the people she most admires ... chose Maryland for its academics, pool and proximity to home ... majoring in kinesiology.
