As a Freshman (2011-12): Recorded the second best time in the 50 free (22.83), 100 free (49.67), and 200 free (1:49.37) for Maryland...also fourth in the 100 fly (54.11)...Honorable Mention All-American in the 200 free relay at the NCAA Championships...took 62nd in the 50 free (23.09), 53rd in the 100 fly (54.79) and was 59th in the 100 free (50.50)...touched the wall ninth in the 50 freestyle (22.83) at the ACC Championships... captured 10th in the 100 fly (54.11)... finished ninth in the 100 free (50.04)...contributed to second-place 200 free relay (1:30.02)... also part of squad that finished third in the 400 medley relay (3:36.15)...also took fourth in the 200 yard medley relay (1:40.55)...ACC All-Academic....took second in the 50 free (23.00) and 100 free (50.01) at the Terrapin Cup.

Before Maryland: Competed at Peddie School...New Jersey State record holder in the 50, 100 and 200 free, 100 fly and 100 back.

Personal: Daughter of Peter and Clare Fittin...has one brother, Peter who swims for Maryland, and one sister Annie who was an All-American swimmer for the Terps.
