As a Sophomore (2011-12): One of Maryland's top distance swimmers, Terp top times in the 500 free (4:46.50) and 400 IM (4:14.43)....also top five in the 200 free (1:49.65) and 1650 free (16:43.35)...touched the wall seventh in the 400 IM final (4:16.81) at the 2012 ACC Championships ...captured 11th place in the 500 freestyle (4:48.24)... finished 12th in the 1650 free (16:43.35)...also contributed to the eighth-place 800 free relay team (7:24.36) ...ACC All-Academic....won the 500 free (4:48.93) and 400 IM (4:14.43) at the Terrapin Cup... helped guide 800 free relay to win at Terp Cup...also took sixth in the 200 back (2:00.53).

As a Freshman (2010-11): Top five performer for Maryland in the 200 free,1650 free and 200 back...registered best times on the squad in the 500,1000 free and 400 IM...finished 12th in the 500 free (4:48.51) and tallied an NCAA B-cut mark at the ACC Championships...took ninth in the 400 IM (4:16.70), also a B-cut qualifying time...All-ACC Academic selection...captured the 400 IM (4:18.69) at the Terp Cup...also took third in the 500 free (4:52.34) and fifth in the 200 back...member of first place 800 free relay.

Before Maryland: High School All American in the 500 free...swam for the Eastern Express and coached by Brent Matheson...national qualifier in the 400 IM, 200 IM, and 200 Back...400 IM champion at the NE March Sectionals.

Personal: Daughter of Martin and Rosellyn Cassidy...Gold Key recipient...took a mission trip to Guatemala in 2008...attending Maryland for excellent academics and athletics...majoring in General Biology.
