As a Freshman (2011-12): Top five competitor for Maryland in the 50 free (23.49), 100 free (51.25), 100 back (55.49) and 200 back (1:59.43)...part of the 200 free relay team that captured second place (1:30.02) at the ACC Championships...also on third-place 400 medley relay (1:30.02)...finished 23rd in the 50 free (23.52) and 18th in the 200 backstroke (1:59.43)...took fifth in the 50 free (23.71), sixth in the 100 back (55.76) and fifth in the 200 back (2:00.44) at the Terrapin Cup.

Before Maryland: Swam at Williams Tennent High School...four-time All-American... participated in Junior Nationals...All-State performer four years in high school...swam for Centennial Aquatics club for Coach Jamie Forlini...earned Academic All-America honors.

Personal: Daughter of John and Michelle Busch...has one brother, Zachary...lists her major as elementary education... member of the National Honor Society...lists her sports hero as Michael Jordan.
