Terps' Fall Schedule Released

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland softball team released its fall ball lineup Monday, which includes two round robins at Robert E. Taylor Stadium and an exhibition game as part of the National Pro Fastpitch league's Back to School Tour.
On Sept. 27, a team made up of all-stars from all four NPF teams will come to College Park to take on the Terrapins in an exhibition match. Maryland is one of just as one of 21 stops across 16 states for the Back to School Tour.
The Terps and the NPF all stars will take the field at 6:30 p.m., with gates opening at 4 p.m. Parking will be free beginning at 4 p.m. All cars parked prior to 4 p.m. are subject to ticketing.
Tickets are $15 for reserved seats,$10 for adult general admission tickets and $5 for general admission tickets for children 12 and under. Tickets are on sale at Umterps.com.
The Terrapins' first Fall Round Robin will be at Robert E. Taylor Stadium Sept. 29-30, with Mount St. Mary's, Delaware Tech and Hagerstown all coming to College Park. On Sept. 29, the Terps will take on Mount St. Mary's at 1 p.m. and Delaware Tech at 3 p.m. On Sept. 30, Maryland will play Hagerstown at 1 p.m.
The Terrapins will welcome Towson, George Washington and Delaware State to College Park for their second Fall Round Robin, Oct. 13-14. The Terps will play Delaware State at 10 a.m. and Towson at noon on Oct. 13. They will take on George Washington at noon and Delaware State at 2 p.m. on Oct. 14.
Admission and parking are both free for the two Round Robins.
