Before Maryland: Five-year letterwinner for Anthony Rodrigues at Fox Lane High School where she was the starting first base and pitcher...earned First Team and Second Team honors in 2010 and 2011 and a four-time All-League and two-time All Section player...in high school career she averaged a .428 batting average, a .502 on base percentage and had 93 RBI's, 78 runs and 115 hits in total...was captain junior and senior years and led the team to sectionals four times...in her senior year she took part in the Exceptional Senior All Star Game...as a junior, spent the season among the Section 1 leaders in homers and RBI's...ended the season with seven home runs, 34 RBI's and 34 hits in 20 games...in sophomore year led Fox Lane's team with a .431 batting average, 28 hits, 21 runs and 18 RBI'S and won five games on the mound...also played for the 18U Jersey Intensity Gold and the 18U Connecticut Charmers Gold.

Personal: Daughter of Guy and Rosanne Licata...has one sibling Gaetano Licata who attends Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute...recipient of the 2011 United States Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award and the Fox Lane's Senior Athletic Sportsmanship Award...member of The National Society of High School Scholars and The National Art Honors Society...high school Honor Roll all four years and Secretary of Fox Lane's Italian Club 10th through 12th grade...enjoys watching the Yankees with her family and her favorite player is A-ROD...majoring in Biology and is planning on studying forensics...came to Maryland because when she stepped on the campus she knew it was where she wanted to be for the next four years.
