ERA was 4.20 and win-loss record was 1-6 with 2 saves ... compiled 88 strikeouts, including 10 against Pittsburgh on Feb. 8 ... only three attempts at the plate, but earned two hits ... one stolen base on the year.

Before Maryland: Earned all-Beach District, all-region and all-state honors as an ace pitcher at Salem High School ... named school's Athlete of the Year following her senior season in 2008 ... averaged nearly 15 strikeouts per game during her final season ... struck out 20 of the 21 batters she faced and scored the only run in a 1-0 victory that enabled Salem to claim the 2008 Beach District softball championship ... finished her senior year with seven no-hitters along with two perfect games ... won 20 games as a junior in 2007 to help guide Salem to the Beach District regular season title ... a four-year starter ... coached by Jason Barefoot ... played club softball for the Hampton Road Vipers under coach Howie Bryan ... also recruited by Boston College, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
