As a sophomore (2009): Led the team with a 2.48 ERA and also averaged a .279 batting average on the year ... record was 12-10 ... started 20 games as a pitcher, but started and played in 53 ... pitched 164.0 innings, including four complete games ... led the team in strikeouts with 174 ... caught five opposing players stealing ... threw eight games without a hit and 12 games with no runs allowed ... 13 strike-outs against Boston College on April 18 and ten against Nevada on Feb. 21 and against Dartmouth on March 8 ... earned 4 saves on the year ... had 14 runs and 48 hits, a team-high, at the plate, including seven doubles and two home runs ... totaled 14 RBI.
