Women's Soccer Adds Curtis For 2001 Season

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland women's soccer coach Shannon Higgins-Cirovski has announced that Caitlin Curtis (Potomac, Md./The Bullis School) has confirmed her letter of acceptance to the University of Maryland for the Fall of 2001.

Curtis joins the class of Melissa Anderson (Odenton, Md./St. Mary's H.S.), Kimmy Francis (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock H.S.) and Lindsay Niehaus (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Ursala Academy), who signed with Maryland in Feb. 2001.

Curtis has been a star defender for The Bullis School and with her club team the Bethesda Falcons. She was named first-team All-County as a senior as well as an honorable mention All-Met pick. Curtis was named team MVP also this past fall.

With the Falcons, Curtis captured six Maryland state titles. She has also been a member of the Maryland State ODP Team.
