LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Maryland women's track team opens the 2000-2001 indoor track season at Bucknell University this Saturday, Dec. 2.

Last year, The Terps opened the indoor season at Bucknell and fared well. Highlighting last year's action: junior Thema Napier (Columbia, Md.) finished first in the 55 hurdles with a time of 8.20, senior Vanessa Jones (Olney, Md.) won the high jump with a leap of 5-8, and senior Keri Seher (Farmingville, N.Y.) placed third in the 3,000 with a time of 10:54.4.

Following the meet at Bucknell, Maryland will have over a month off before hosting a meet at the Prince George's complex on Jan. 7.
