COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Junior high-jumper Vanessa Jones (Olney, Md.) has received a spot at the NCAA Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., on March 10-11.

Jones, whose jump of 5-11 1/2 last Saturday qualified her provisionally, was on the final list of competing athletes released Monday.

Jones will be competing in a field of 18 high-jumpers. Her qualifying mark from this season would have earned her a top-10 finish at last year's NCAA Indoor Championships.

The NCAA Championships will not be held at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, Ind., for the first time since 1989. The meet will feature 270 student-athletes from around the country.
