COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The women's track and field team competed in the ECAC Championships in Boston, Mass. Senior Heather Atkinson (Urbana, Ill.) had a career best 55-9 1/4 performance in the 20-pound weight throw, earning All-East honors. This was also an NCAA provisional mark and a new school record. Also earning All-East honors were juniors Stacey Minott (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and Tesheya Hoist (Rocky Mount, N.C.) in the 55 meter dash and senior Raina Domneys (Glen Burnie, Md.) in the triple jump.

The men's track and field team traveled to Ithaca, N.Y. for the IC4A Championships where juniors Asa Heath (Richmond, Va.) and Jamie Wu (Chicago, Ill.) were named All-East. Heath ran the 55 meter hurdles in 7.45 seconds, while Wu had a 52-2 1/2 throw in the shot put.
