As a Junior: Won the ACC Outdoor Championship in the high jump with a leap of 6-0, the best of her career to that point … later improved that mark in finishing first at the Florida State Twilight Meet with a jump of 6-0 1/2 … finished first at the ECAC Indoor Championships … won the Maryland Invitational and the Terrapin Invitational with jumps of 5-10 1/2 and 5-11 1/4, respectively … placed second at the Georgia Invitational … finished second at the ECAC Outdoor Championships, garnering All-East honors … finalist at the 2000 Olympic Trials.

On Jones: 1999 All-ACC selection in the high jump … 1999 ECAC qualifier for both the indoor and outdoor seasons … finished eighth at the indoor ECAC's and fifth at the outdoor ECAC's in the high jump.

Before Maryland: Prepped at Sherwood High in Olney where she was a state high jump champion in 1997 … three-year letterwinner in track and volleyball … averaged nine kills in volleyball as a senior, and guided her team to the state finals as a junior … three-time county and regional high jump champion … finished fifth in state meet as a sophomore before winning state crown as a junior and senior … was undefeated as a senior … personal best was 5-8.
