  • Dobbie Named Midfielder of the Year

    COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland's Kelly Kasper was named the Most Valuable Player of the IWLCA/Under Armour Senior All-Star Game as the South defeated the North, 11-8, at the United Sports Training Center in Downington, Pa. The Eldersburg, Md., product recorded a hat trick in the game.

    Kasper won the opening draw control, her first of four, and scored two of the first five goals to give the South a 4-1 lead to open the game. The South built an 8-3 halftime lead and Kasper started the second half with another draw control. She then assisted on the first goal of the second half to move the margin to six, the largest lead of the game. The South would hold on for the 11-8 victory.

    Lauren Cohen and Dana Dobbie also played in the All-Star game. Dobbie scored a goal for the South side as well.
