Maryland welcomes A-10 champion UMass at 2 p.m. in first round action

As a Senior in 2012: Scored a goal and added an assist at Hofstra (3/4)...played in 17 games, earning three starts...tallied goals against Hofstra (3/4), Syracuse (3/10), Richmond (3/13), Stony Brook (3/20), Towson (3/27), Princeton (4/11), Virginia Tech (4/14 and 4/20) and Georgetown (4/25)..also notched assists vs. Hofstra and Stony Brook...tallied a ground ball vs. Syracuse and Richmond.

As a Junior in 2011: Appeared in 15 games for Maryland...scored first goal as a Terrapin at Delaware (2/16)...tallied two goals each against George Mason (3/8) and Stony Brook (3/22)...added an assist at Stony Brook for a career-high three points...also scored a goal at Virginia Tech (4/16)...tallied a goal at No. 16 Georgetown (4/28)...tallied hat trick against Navy in the NCAA first round (5/14)...ended season with 10 goals and an assist.

At UMBC: Played lacrosse for Retrievers two seasons before transferring to Maryland...2009 Academic All-Conference...tabbed Second Team All-America East Conference in 2010.

Prep:Played basketball and lacrosse while in high school at Coronado and Peninsula...tallied over 1,000 points as a shooting guard in hoops and named two-time All-American and Academic All-American in lacrosse.

Personal: Born February 16, 1990...daughter of Michael and Abby Phillips...father played baseball at Baker University and mother played volleyball at York College...has two brothers, Rye, who plays baseball at Western Oregon and Cole...hobbies include traveling and cooking...chose Maryland because it was a big school with great academics...economics major.
