Maryland Gymnastics Travel to NC State for EAGL Conference Championships

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland Gymnastics competes tonight in the EAGL Conference Championships at North Carolina State at 6 p.m. The Terps finished the regular season with the fourth-highest average in the league, behind North Carolina State, North Carolina and West Virginia.

The Terps are coming off a season-high performance, scoring a 194.125 in their last meet of the season. Angie Ferg notched a career-high 9.825 on vault in Maryland's second-place finish last week. Mandy Pascual led Maryland on bars with a 9.775. Alex Gatch tied for first overall on balance beam with a 9.725. Rachel Martinez and Ginny Scott paced the squad on floor with a 9.850 and a 9.875.

The Terps will have to have another strong showing tonight in order to qualify for the NCAA Regionals.
