TERP TALK WITH STACEY
As co-captain I will:
Help to lead my squad as best as I can. Kat and I are a great team, and together we should be able to handle any situation that would be put before us. We will handle all things with a positive attitude and will do whatever is best for our team.
Why is vault your best event?
Vault is a really strong event for me because of my good technique and strong legs.
Personal goals for 2003:
My personal goals for my senior year are to compete and excel on vault and beam. I want to be able to be the best that I can be in those two areas especially because they are my best events and that is where I see myself helping the team the most.
Team goals for 2003:
This is the best team that Maryland has ever had and we deserve to go to the NCAA's this year. It is so important to make each individual score count in every competition in order for us to continue climbing up the national ranks. This is such an exciting time for our team because the talent that we have is beyond anything Maryland has ever had before. Together, we are going to thrive.
