EAGL History
The East Atlantic Gymnastics League was founded on July 31, 1995 when eight Division-1 universities sought out a gymnastics-exclusive conference affiliated by the NCAA.
Among the founding fathers of the EAGL was former Maryland gymnastics head coach Bob Nelligan, who led the Terps from 1979-2008.
