OXFORD, Miss. - Freshman Juliet Vongphoumy and junior Christine Shimel both carded a 1-over 73 Sunday in the final round of the Rebel Intercollegiate at Ole Miss Golf Course to lead the Maryland women's golf team to a seventh place finish. The Terps completed the tournament with a 907 (308-295-304).

Vongphoumy and Shimel both entered Sunday's final round outside the top15, but used a solid performance to finish tied for 11th and tied for 14th, respectively. Vongphoumy completed the tournament with a 223 (76-74-73) and Shimel totaled a 224 (79-72-73).

Senior Jessica Hollandsworth tied for 27th after firing an 81 Sunday. Hollandsworth finished with a 226 (74-71-81). Sophomore Emily Gimpel shot a 5-over 77 in the final round to finish with a 234 (79-78-77) to tie for 58th.

In her first collegiate tournament, freshman Jessica Uem placed 86th with a 252 (86-81-85).

No. 18 Baylor won the team title with an 871 (292-285-294) and the Bears' Jaclyn Jansen took home the individual title after carding a 6-under 210 (70-69-71).

The Terps head to the ACC Championships at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., April 13-15.
