PINEHURST, N.C. - The heavy snows that hit the Carolinas late last week forced the cancellation of the College of Charleston spring women's golf tournament. The field was to include the University of Maryland women's team.

The event was scheduled for Friday through Sunday this weekend. There was no early word as to whether the Maryland women's golf team would be able to add another event to their spring tournament schedule.
