Spring 2012: Played in three spring tournaments...opened the season with a 235 at the JMU/Eagle Landing Invitational...finished with a 11-over 227 (73-77-77) at the Pinehurst Challenge...carded a 234 at the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate.
Fall 2011: Competed in all five fall tournaments...finished with a Terp season-low and career-best 67 in the final round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate...opened the season with a 228 (75-76-77) at the Cougar Classic...tied for 49th with a 14-over 158 (81-77) at the Wild Eggs Cardinal Cup...helped the Terps win the UNCG/Starmount Classic with a 19-over 235 (80-78-77) to tie for 25th...finished tied for 47th as Maryland won the Lady Pirate Invitational...led Maryland to a second place finish at the Palmetto Intercollegiate placing seventh, her first top-10 finish, and carded a 54-hole career-low 219 (78-74-67).
Spring 2011: Competed in all four events in the spring season...placed second on the team at the Rebel Intercollegiate with a 9-over 225, good for a tie at 23rd...finished with a 77.92 average in 26 rounds.
Fall 2010: Competed in all five tournaments for Maryland...improved on final-round play in three of five fall events..helped Terps win Lady Pirate Intercollegiate with season-low 223 after recording rounds of 73, 75 and 75...at Pat Bradley Invitational, carded rounds of 76, 75 and 74.
Spring 2010: Competed in all six tournaments...earned a spring low-round 74 at the Pinehurst Challenge...took two top-20 finishes...finished T-16th at the Canes and Cardinal Classic and T-17th at the Hoya Invitational...her 54-round score of 232 at the Canes and Cardinal Classic was her best performance of the spring...carded a 77 on the third day of competition in the NCAA West Regional, her best mark of the tournament in her NCAA debut.
Fall 2009: Competed in four fall tournaments for the Terrapins...had a career-best 16th place finish at the Spider Invitational with a 10-over 154...carded a low round 72 at the Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup...finished top-25 in the ACC averaging 77.09 per round.
Before Maryland: Played two years of golf for the Ravens, leading the team to a pair of regional championships...finished first at OFSAA provincials and third at YRAA regionals as a junior...second at provincials and regionals as a senior...was school athlete of the year as a junior and senior and was named golf MVP both years...also played basketball, volleyball and several more sports for the Ravens...was the top-ranked squash player in all of Canada in 2003 and 2004...standout student...graduated with a 4.0 GPA and won numerous academic awards...was on student council all four years and was class president as a senior...was on athletic council all four years, as well, serving as president in junior year.
Personal: Hayley Brown...daughter of Jeff Brown and Amey Harding...born in Toronto...has one brother, Tyler...favorite athlete is Tiger Woods...enjoys sports, reading, watching movies and working out...chose Maryland for the academics, location, golf team and facilities...plans on majoring in marketing or pre-law.
